After our initial consultation, a price range estimate for the project will be provided within 3 days. Once the contract is signed, our planning team will meet with you to go over specific preferences and needs, at which time we will provide you with a detailed fixed price that we will lock in for the duration of the project.

We believe that extensive planning helps prevent unwelcome surprises. However, should something come up, any needed changes to the detailed price will be communicated and discussed, and nothing will be implemented until a change order is approved by you (the client). Unexpected expenses will likewise be discussed to see what options are available to give you the best result for your construction project.

A detailed payment schedule will be provided in your contract. Our projects generally require only a 5% down payment to get started, with milestones and percentages clearly outlined.

Each project has “allowances,” or specific items where the price is based on your preferences. For example, the initial quote might include all white kitchen cabinets, but if you prefer a different color it may impact the final cost. Likewise, requesting special lighting, fixtures, or finishes may increase your price. Any changes in the scope of the project will also impact the final cost. Be sure to read your scope of work carefully—we take care to specify what are fixed costs and what are allowances to avoid any surprises.
